Please read these terms before using Kamai.
1. Agreement
By using kamai (the website, free tools and Money Desk), you agree to these terms and our privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Kamai.
2. What Kamai is (and isn't)
Kamai provides calculators, generators and bookkeeping software that produce estimates for information only. Kamai is not a chartered accountant, tax advisor, lawyer or investment advisor, and nothing on Kamai is professional advice. Read the full disclaimer.
3. Your account
- You must be 18 or older, or use Kamai with a parent or guardian.
- Keep your login secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.
- Only upload statements and data you are entitled to use.
4. Free tools
Free tools are provided as-is, without login. We may change or remove tools at any time.
5. Paid plans, billing and renewal
- Money Desk Pro is billed monthly or yearly in advance through Razorpay and renews automatically until cancelled.
- The Tax-Season Pack is a one-time purchase for the tax year shown at checkout.
- The Rate Card Pack and the Foreign Income CA Report are one-time purchases that unlock a finished file in that tool for your account, with no expiry and no renewal.
- Prices are listed on the pricing page and may change; changes apply from your next billing period, with notice.
- You can cancel anytime by emailing us. You keep access until the end of the paid period.
6. Cancellation and refund policy
We want you to be happy with Kamai, and we keep this policy simple and fair.
- Free tools: they are free, so there is nothing to refund.
- 7-day money-back guarantee: if you buy Money Desk Pro (monthly or yearly) the Tax-Season Pack, the Rate Card Pack or the Foreign Income CA Report for the first time and you are not satisfied, email us within 7 days of the payment and we will refund the full amount, provided you have not downloaded a CA pack, Tally export, rate card file or foreign-income report. These files are the main deliverable and cannot be returned once downloaded.
- After 7 days: payments are non-refundable, except where the law requires a refund or where the charge was our mistake (see below).
- Cancelling a subscription: you can cancel Money Desk Pro at any time by emailing us. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. We do not refund the unused part of a period, and we stop all future charges.
- Renewals: if you were charged for a renewal you did not intend, email us within 48 hours of the charge and we will refund it if you have not used Money Desk since the renewal.
- Our mistakes: if you were charged twice, charged the wrong amount, or paid but did not receive your plan, we will fix it or refund the extra amount in full, whenever you tell us.
How to ask for a refund: email kkammai026@gmail.com from the email address on your account with the subject “Refund request”. Please include the date and amount of the payment. We reply within 2 working days.
How refunds are paid: approved refunds go back to the original payment method (UPI, card or net banking) through Razorpay. Banks usually take 5 to 7 working days to show the money after we approve it. We cannot speed up your bank's processing time.
7. Acceptable use
Don't misuse Kamai: no scraping at scale, reverse engineering, attacking the service, or uploading unlawful content.
8. Your data
You own your data. You give us permission to process it only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy. You can export or delete it any time.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, Kamai is not liable for tax, interest, penalties or losses arising from relying on its estimates, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; we'll notify logged-in users of material changes. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. You can stop using Kamai and delete your account any time.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at [YOUR CITY], India.
